Mike Sasarak is a union power lineman with 22 years on the job and the founder of Prepper Evolution. Mutual aid and storm restoration have taken him to Sandy, California wildfires, Texas winter storms, Gulf hurricanes, and ice work in Maine. He writes field-tested gear reviews and builds the free calculators on this site from a New Jersey shop and a Pennsylvania cabin — not from a product list.
Prepper Evolution, LLC is a registered New Jersey business. The site exists to publish honest gear tests and free tools — not fear-channel listicles.
