There’s a point in the lifecycle of any YouTube channel where the content stops being about the thing and starts being about the content. I’ve watched it happen in the overlanding space over the last few years, and it’s why I basically stopped watching most of it. When a channel gets big enough to attract sponsorships, the gear reviews change. Suddenly everything is “incredible” and “a game-changer” and no piece of gear ever has a real flaw. That’s
