I have had this conversation a dozen times in the prepper community and it never gets fully resolved: do you tell your neighbors you prep? The OPSEC crowd says never, not a word, because the second people know you have supplies they will come for them when things get bad. The community-first crowd says you are an idiot if you try to go it alone because you need allies.
